Oct. 15, 2006, 8:12 a.m.The Chinese Massacre 1989 was not only in the nations Beijing but through the provinces. This is a separate incident. The situation with the Taliban also near Their borders.
Everone seems on edge. Sad times we dwell.

Oct. 15, 2006, 11:27 a.m.This is very disturbing to say the lease, but let's not blame the privately-owned businesses in China for the outrageous actions of the Chinese government.

Oct. 15, 2006, 1:05 p.m.Would a boycott of Chinese goods help? Doubt if our government will take any action since we want Chinese to act in the N.Korean situation.

Oct. 15, 2006, 1:10 p.m.That would be like boycotting goods produced by U.S. companies because of the actions of the U.S. government.

Oct. 15, 2006, 1:33 p.m.This has been going on since Mao was in power. Tibet swears allegiance to the Dali Lama not godless communist, thus their fate is to be shot like dogs. In most cases, there are no witnesses. File a complaint with the UN and even if you had video and interviews with the shooters, nothing would happen.

Oct. 15, 2006, 2:22 p.m.I think that doing nothing is also not an option. I remember several years ago there were support Tibet rallies. Why not now? Also, even if no current action taken, it is a good idea to build a paper trail of complaints including to the UN. To go silently into the future, is not a good idea for us in the west who can speak out.
