A good well balanced article. I also recommend the god who whined about the new atheists.

"The atheists are missing something. It is faith -- not in a "man-god-in-the-sky" but in the human spirit."
I am inclined to highly disagree with this statement. I firmly believe in the human spirit. I have faith in Man's ability to be good, prosper, grow, learn, and create a better world. I believe all this without being crippled by a "man-god-in-the-sky" myth or a "big tent" of spiritual ideas.
