Posted by: Jayson 1 year, 2 months agoAntoni Gaudi's Sagrada Familia church, an unfinished Barcelona landmark that is considered a marvel of modern architecture, has lacked a construction permit for more than a century, city officials said Friday. Gaudi first presented a design for the church in 1883 and two years later suggested changes to the blueprint. Both times he won permission.

The Sagrada Familia is truely magnificient as it is the only "Cathedral" in the world still under construction.
At the time of Gaudi's death in 1926 only one of the towers had been completed. It is a joy to behold not only for it's spectacular size but also for the commitment to carry on he's work, I cannot wait to see how long it would take to finish.
