I find society more intolerant of Christianity. The problem is that we have made society so confusing by issues that are easily solved by simply adhering to the commandments that people prefer not to think that the issue is found more at home than anywhere.
The Bible states that a man should cleave unto his wife and none other. Why is it that we need divorce, teen pregnancies, infidelity, gay marriage, or the "let's try it to see if it works out?"
The Bible states that we should rear our children in righteousness, "for unto such (meaning children) is the Kingdom of Heaven." Yet we have child drug abuse, latchkey kids, working mothers, single moms, child abuse and molestation, ad so forth.
Yet Christianity is tolerant of many of these "issues," speaking generally. Some of these issues are still considered evil in society's eyes, but society has no moral compas, therefore society will dictate what is considered right or wrong.

I'm sorry, but I will not allow my children to be exposed to the ills of society. Is that intolerance? If you have no moral standard other than society, of course it will appear that way. I see it as being a self-governed person.
If you notice, my bio states that I think a moral standard is more important than a law. I stand by that. Laws are for those who need them.
If no one killed, would we need a law stating as such? for example, if a law stating you could not ride your horse on Sundays, would you follow it? We would consider it ludicrous in this age, but at one time it may have had effect.
All I am saying is that those who claim intolerance are usually those who do not understand the concept of self-control. Maybe that is why I consider myself a conservative.
