The office of the president is a secular office in a secular government. There is not a word in the Constitution that authorizes the president or anyone else in the federal government to make a religious decision.

    this is a question not a comment. Will somebody please tell me what is a secular or a seculist? I keep running across this word and i must admit. that the story gets lost to me because i have no idea what the word means. thanks
