Anti-Islam Facebook Group Removed After User Complaints »
Posted by: muhairi8 8 months agoWhat exactly is the line that divides hate speech and freedom of speech? Tough to answer, that one. A Facebook group with, as NYTimes describes, a "crude title", was made inaccessible by Facebook after a petition asking for removal of the group was signed by over 58,000 members of the site.

Those in charge of Facebook must have feared that they'd have their heads carved off to chants of "Allah is Greatest". Well, I can see why they'd cave. It's only a matter of time that Propeller will pull me off IF I start getting a large Muslim audience when it comes to what I bring to Propeller ON Islam. As a matter of fact, ONE of my rants on a certain thread WAS pulled just recently. It had to do with water-boarding and my thoughts on doing an alternative to physical torture that I really feel MIGHT be a useful way of extracting info to a Muslim A-bomb. But, someone at Propeller must have feared it could be seen as "hate speech"... and pulled it. Well, for those interested, I don't have ANY hate in my heart toward Muslims, (including those who'd set off a nuke in New York City), because, I know, that IF I received the same brain-washing they received, the same Quranic indocrination since birth, well... who knows? I MIGHT be with Bin Laden now.

Do you allow christians to criticize other christians?
Challenging Christian Zionism
The movement of Christian Zionism provides a challenge and an embarrassment to Palestinian Christians at a number of crucial levels, requiring us to address this issue theologically, politically, and existentially. It raises for us a number of issues that must be addressed.

First and foremost are the theological issues: What kind of God does Christianity teach and what kind of God do we believe in? Is God a tribal, territorially- based God, partial to the tribe of the Hebrews and interested in granting them a particular piece of land in Palestine to be their eternal birthright regardless of the rights of its indigenous inhabitants?? Is God the Lord of Hosts, glorying in the military exploits of his people, and wrathful and vengeful towards their enemies, assuring them of military victory (regardless of their own spiritual state of godliness or lack thereof )? Or is God the sacrificial God who loves the whole world, and who, as revealed to us in Christ, transcends racial and national boundaries, and opens his arms and offers his salvation to Jew and gentile alike, inviting into his universal kingdom all those who believe in him, granting them the power to be children of God, and inheritors of the promises??

In my personal opinion the propeller is the best of all, they are decent and civilised enough to respect people's belief and decent opinion. Propeller is a model for all the other groups. I noticed that the Youtube is more or less like a toilet they allow all kind of garbages. Even the user names of most of the Christians who propagate their faith are utter filth and they attack Islam in a very uncivilized manner and there is noting called decency, some of the user names are filthy so much hatred against Islam. If people want to express their opinion why should they abuse people on these kind of forum? They can use their mail to do that in private Youtub provides Gmail connection for every user, and completely ignore the dirtiest language been used to address Muslims, Prophet of Islam and the Qur'an. People who abuse others are just bankrupt or ignorant. If they can't reply they should leave it at that and accept that they are weak in their argument. Shame on so called civilised world.

This reminds me an old (and very good) Russian joke from the Soviet times about a Russian and an American arguing which country has more freedom of speech.
The American said "I can stand in front of the White House and declare that President Reagan is an idiot. Nothing will happen to me".
"So what?" said the Russian. "I also can stand in front of the Kremlin and declare that President Reagan is an idiot. Nothing will happen to me, either."

If your greeting were sincere, your wish might be different.
Eid-al-Adha
----------...
Eid al-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice is the most important feast of the Muslim calendar. It concludes the Pilgrimmage to Mecca. Eid al-Adha lasts for three days and commemorates Ibraham's (Abraham) willingness to obey God by sacrificing his son. Muslims believe the son to be Ishmael rather than Isaac as told in the Old Testament. Ishmael is considered the forefather of the Arabs. According to the Koran, Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son when a voice from heaven stopped him and allowed him to sacrifice a ram instead.
The feast re-enacts Ibrahim's obedience by sacrificing a cow or ram. The family eats about a third of the meal and donates the rest to the poor.

Meaning of "The Festival of Sacrifice"
What is Eid al-Adha
At the end of the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Mecca), Muslims throughout the world celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice). In 2007, Eid al-Adha will begin on approximately December 19th, and will last for three days.

Excuse me but can you read "hyperbola"?
I wished Merry Christmas date in which the Emperor of Rome "Constantine" in accordance with the "Pontifix Maximums" at the time defined it a holiday on the date of an old pagan celebration.
And no, my greeting was not in the least sincere and I wished nothing than to stimulate interest (Success!).
Nobody asked you what "Eid-al-Adha" was, and what the particular superstitions of the time were around 3200 AD, and the stupidity and uselessness of sacrificing children and cows.
Oh, let's see now should I sacrifice my son or a ram?
You know what Ibrahim should have done? He should have sacrificed himself, he was the owner of his life and not of his sons.
Maybe then the sacrifice would have been sincere.
How do you like that for sincerity?

Speaking of al-Hadna-Eid: the Iranian president pointed out that the "philosophy of Haj can be defined merely through considering Islam's aim at establishment of a global government."

Any means of achieving Islamic preeminence is acceptable: http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=...
However, our acceptance that peaceful coexistence is part of Islamic ideology is uninformed, dangerous, and ultimately fatal to western concepts like freedom of speech, equality before the law, equality between the sexes, freedom of the press, ... etc.
