Any Mormons out there -- PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read that Mormons believe once they die they become "gods" and get their own planet! If this is truly a Mormon belief, how do you expect anyone to take you seriously? Also, Joseph Smith didn't exactly have a spotless reputation, but he was a helluva smart guy, I must admit. Also, regarding the now outdated practice of polygamy, why were men permitted to have multiple wives, but women were not permitted multiple husbands? One more question: Why was it that only approximately 50 years ago blacks were admitted into the clergy. No decent religion would EVER discriminate against race. I await Mormon answers; I'm truly interested. What I would like to see, however, is any religion kept OUT of the White House. Bush gets instructions from God? Yeah, RIGHT...the same way Pat Robertson does. Clinton faithfully attended church...but WHY? He sure didn't live according to his faith!
