The survivors won support from fellow Muslims. Mamadou Soumare was among the grieving relatives who gathered Thursday afternoon for a meeting and prayer service at the Islamic Cultural Center, a mile from the fire scene.
"We are standing with them and supporting them, and we are thanking God," said Dukary Camara, a spokesman for the center. "God is the one who gives us the children and the family, and he is the one who takes them."
"These people are good Muslims," he added, "and they understand that what is destiny for them, there's nothing that can prevent that from happening."
After the service, Imam Konate Souleimane said mosques throughout the metropolitan area would accept donations for the grieving families during Friday services. He said tentative plans were for Fatoumata Soumare and her children to be flown back to Mali for burial, while the other children would be buried in the New York area.

Muslims are commanded to help the people of different walks of life such as needy, widows, orphans and poor people who are struggling to pay their debt and there are specific categories of people who are entitle to financial and other kinds of help as well. And that is part of the faith or Muslims would be considered hypocrites. Unfortunately the Western Zionist media concentrate on the negative side of the bad Muslims to tarnish the image of Islam. Every action of a Muslim is attributed to Islam, where as every action of a non-Muslim or a Christian or Jew is blamed on mental illness or sudden burst of anger.

In my life I try not to hate people for the differences that we have, differences such as religion, race, ethnic backbround or even political ties. I attempt to do this by thinking of everyone being a small baby in a large room where there is no light, if I here a cry I'm am concerned not for myself but for the child who is crying. I feel that any person who was put in this room would likely do the same, there is an unwritten law that compels man to help but it can only work if we are not blinded by out thoughts or beliefs.
The world would be a far better place if it was ruled by our hearts nd not our minds.

"At least eight children and one adult died in a fire in New-York". That's horrible...But the worse is: mothers were forced to throw their own children out the window because there was no fire escape...This thought is unbearable for me! A mother?(we don't mind what was her Religion!). I have no word...

This is proof that not every single Muslim is a terrorist and that SOME are actually able to HEAL the infidel, not KILL the infidel. Well, I'm going to see what they are doing as NOT "al-taqqiya" in performance, and, instead, see it as a HOPEful sign. Who knows? Maybe true Islam is starting to crack? Those who view the West and Israel as worse than Nazi Germany must be feeling uncomfortable when they see Muslims doing something good for those they perceive as infidels.

This proves couple of things:
Every muslim is not a terrorist.
Every American is not a paragaon of virtue and fairness.
