Catholic Priests May Face Death Penalty »
Posted By deadlyhaiku 6 months ago in NewsWith the upcoming decision by the Supreme Court as to whether or not capital punishment should be imposed for child rape, one has to ponder if that brand of justice will be applied evenly to all offenders, including the numerous Catholic Predator Priests hidden and moved by the Church in order to hide their crimes.

Yes, I find it utterly amazing that the Roman Catholic Church has all of these tax breaks (including property tax breaks), and yet it openly discriminates against women and gays.
When will this end? I don't care what their religious teachings are, but they should have to adhere to federal guidelines in the hiring and firing of their priests, management, including bishops, cardinals and even the pope, or they should lose their 501(c)(3) status and tax breaks.
It seems that all other 501(c)(3) corps have to do this, so why do they get off the hook.
And why the h e double tooth picks would anyone patronize such an establishment other than to openly protest such clealry discriminatory practices?

All religions have some sort of discriminatory practice, yet all religions are protected from taxes. If you're really interested in having the Government dictate your religions traditions, beliefs, et cetera then you should keep pushing for what you're pushing for: government interference in religious matters. Remember, though, that while you'll be pushing for the ordination of female priests (a great idea in the Catholic church as far as I'm concerned) there will be the other side pushing to keep women in cages. Literally.

I've always found it ironic that the church calls their congregation the flock. The sheeple that come out of there are indeed sheep.
I say they put all Child Molesters, Pedophiles, rapists to death. These people are the scum of the earth.

Religion as it is practiced by many is man's way of trying to please God. Many think they can get to heaven thru "good works."
Won't happen. All of our good works are like filthy rags in comparison to perfection.
That is why Christ sacrificed himself for us. So we are saved thru his works not ours.
Many take religion and twist it into a game of failure and despair because one is never good enough.
Of course we're never good enough by our selves. Man sins because we are a sinner by nature. Man is not inherrently good. We are base and would do as we please were there no laws or restrictions upon us. As in the days of Noah.
I can only surmise that at one time or another you were deceived or hurt by a church figure or authority.

I view the death penalty for child rape as to light. They ought to beat the person daily until they succumb to their injuries and die.
Put them on a cactus and let them slowly expire.
They did worse than murder that child. They made that child live with the hell no adult should have to live with.
They killed the child but left the body alive.
Let them pay with all they have in the flesh. Hopefully they know what they did wrong and ask foer forgiveness from God.
Even the the other convicts know how wrong it is to hurt a child. That is why the child molsters and rapists have to be PC'ed up.
Put 'em in population once they are convicted you won't have to worry about the death penalty. It will be served in a manner fitting the scumbag SOB'S.

I feel quite strongly about this. I may seem like I'm cruel.
But to me these heartless scumbags deserve never ending torture.
I've seen the effects of the monstrous deeds these cowards do.
The children are no longer children for their innocense has been stripped from them.
They are the children most likely to grow up as prostitutes, alcoholics, drug users, violent criminals, ...
The cycle must end. We have to start putting these monsters to death.
Some will say. Well some of those wjo do it were victims them self. Yeah!! So they should know how evil and foul it is!!! There by never wanting to harm another child..

I agree. An adult can make a conscious decision to believe in whatever fairytales they want, yet these people force their children to believe in what they do. This should be child abuse, in fact it IS child abuse.

Unless he committed the crime before 1995 then post facto doesn't apply since they're not changing the law, they're deciding if the law hes be convicted under is fair or not.

yeah they all need to be put away. Child rape, the rapist has no care to the pain they inflict... they are just out to get off on kids... they want me in church with my kids, but they will do nothing to protect them... now if they feared death, like they do god maybe they will think twice...

Remind me to pretend to care if pedophile priests get executed. One thing to remember, though - the reason that the death penalty is restricted is to keep the gov't or corrupt people inside the gov't from framing people that they want to get rid of, and then executing them for reasons of 'justice'. The test for whether or not to make pedophiles elegible for the death penalty is how easy it is to frame an innocent citizen, not whether or not they deserve it (lots of crimes other than murder deserve it). Think about it.
