Religion – Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (KJV)
What a great song! I really liked it. It will be nice tho, when these Christian songs include Goddess, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Joanna the teacher and all the great holy women, which is the way it was always meant to be.
I also liked the various photos of Yeshua, they were very gorgeous. It is my understanding that Father God looks like the paintings we have of Yeshua.
Of course, Mother Goddess, looks like She always has, and Venus on the half shell is one of hers and my favorite images.
I just love religion and am very addicted to it and to meditation. I also like the internet which has allowed the church to open up on its ideas greatly.
For a wonderful book on peace and love, check out the Korana of Mother Goddess, available on Amazon, ebay or Lulu dot com. Blessings to you all today.

It seems silly to anthropomorphize that which many consider unknowable. As for "Father God, Mother Goddess" crapola, 'God' in the original language was either a verb (as in "I am") or generally of a neutral gender. The male gender in the language just came through the lack of an appropriate neuter gender in the English language and the strenght of the patriarchy in translation.

Please stop hawking your crappy book in these forums.
If you don't like it Dionys look elsewhere. What're you an anchor now? You're limiting people on what to post? Who died and made you God?
The Bible throughout calls God a Father and speaks of a Son. Even Adam is called a Son made in the image of God. But this is not GENDER specific but a description of nature. There is a difference between men and women, between fathers and mothers. Jehovah is NOT a "mother god" but is a FATHER GOD.
I'm so sorry that you're contained and limited by your lack of Biblical language and understanding. Try reading some scholarly works regarding the original language, rather than depending on a translation from a high-context language such as Hebrew or Greek into a low-context language such as English.
Anthropomorphizing 'God' or limiting God to a gender is a sickness of humanity in projecting our limited and finite understanding of the universe onto an infinite, transcendent God.
As for Adam and Eve being made "in the image of God" as you say, does that mean that God has a belly button? What function does God's belly button serve?
Dionys: I have consulted the original languages & supportive research & reference works. The language only supports the masculinity of God.
The logic of saying, "...does that mean that God has a belly button?", needs to be examined in Adam & Eve: Did they have a Belly button? They certainly didn't need one, as the 1st created human beings. Yet this does not add anything much to the question.
The name "Elohim" is a masculine plural name, whereby God said, "Let Us make man in our image." The plural nature of God's name indicates something that I believe you are missing in your studies & evaluation of this issue. -Rev. S
Midleft: It is puzzling to see your unwarranted & illogical attacks upon all who believe in Christ, unless you think this is just an Internet game, where you think that you have open season upon Christians. It violates the TOU, however, to slam your constant barrage of insults & name calling.
May you find the peace that only comes through Christ. For you to declare, "No evidence there ever was a historical Jesus," indicates your lack of learning the truth & flies in the face of well-established history, as well as the record of the Scriptures.
You will not find true satisfaction by your current efforts. -Rev. S

I'm sorry you're so full of hatred and anger. It's odd that you're attacking religion, especially one of peace, for being superstition, comparing it to Arabs, et cetera when you're trying to claim the moral upper hand.
As for Buddhists who "waste their lives chanting," or the Jews who "wail and eat Koser(sic) food," et cetera it's apparent that you are sorely lacking in even a basic education regarding religions in general.
Ignorance breeds hatred and division. Funny how you're claiming to see that in religion when it's exactly what you're preaching yourself. Or sad, really.
You in a hurry to get burnt boy? What're you doing in here? You're totally out of you're element in here.
I'm a Conservative. I'm already close to God. You should feel the flames licking at your backside already.
Coming from you that's a real "hot" one! LOL! At least where you go you'll have plenty around to pass the lotion eh?A conservative like you in heaven? Wow! Talk about an oxymoron.
Listen, we could go on like this all day...or you could repent of your evil, bow your head and ask the God of Ronald Reagan to forgive you.
You listen, you're brand of ignorance is infathomable to say the least. This is religion, NOT politics. Kindly ask you're zookeeper to explain that to you.
I'm praying for you Lib soul at this moment. Kindly ask your DNC handler to explain that to you and compose your next post.
Once again you show you're ignorance, and you're egregious sense of priorities. I am not a liberal, or a Democrat, and God hates political bigots based on they're bias on political affiliations. Btw, Why do you wait until I'm long gone before you rattle and strike with you're cowardly and putrid form of poision? You, CAT7, and everyone ersatz will never be listened to by God or man alike for the simple perception that you and you're spineless and mindless cohorts aren't worth the time or the slightest bother for any type of attention. You're sadly deficient in all matters that even smells good.

Ok, I'm gonna try something new. I don't know why I never thought of this before, but I think this time of devotion should be opened with a prayer. Please join me in praying for blessings upon this devotional and our friends in the Propeller community.
Heavenly Father,
I thank you for making it possible for Christians to gather and spread Your word over the Internet. There are many who oppose what we do and are offended for one reason or another by our expressions of faith. I pray that You will soften their hearts and allow them to be reached not only by what they see in these weekly devotionals, but also by hearing what we are saying to them on an individual basis through conversation. There are many lost souls, and I know it is Your desire that they all come to know Your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ, for He died that we can live. Please bless this devotional and all who join us in worship.
In the holy name of Jesus Christ we pray,
Amen.
Amen
Amen
Amen! And thanks again Brett. I do not surf Christian stuff much and appreciate your posts.
Be blessed and prosper IN CHRIST.
In His Abundant Grace,
Redneck
Amen!
"There is no evidence for any of the thousands of gods inbred idiots have prayed to for the millions of years humans have been crawling about on the face of this planet.
No evidence there ever was a historical Jesus. No evidence for any of the thousands of versions of afterlife you inbred morons have yearned for. "
There's plenty of evidence for an historical Christ. As for 'evidence' regarding all the rest, I suppose that's very subjective. For many there's plenty of evidence in everyday life. For others there will never be enough evidence.
I'm sorry for your deep, abiding hatred and vitriol. I hope you find whatever you need to heal yourself, since it's currently apparent you will have only yourself to help heal you.
"I thank you for making it possible for Christians to gather and spread Your word over the Internet"
Maybe you should do as Christ did and embrace everyone regardless of origin, cultural tradition, religious tradition or background. Be thankful that everyone can gather and experience the "good news."
Christ taught us to love all, but that doesn't mean to be accepting of their religions. He said that no one comes to the Father except through Him, the Son. And so I try to follow Christ's example in leading people to the one true Lord of all. Can't you see my concern is over a humanity that is condemning itself to eternal separation from God? Because I do love my fellow humans, I must continue what I am doing regardless of the opposition. In John 14:6, Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life. I believe that with all I am, and I cannot in good conscience go on like everything is just great no matter what one's beliefs are.
And you're welcome to that reading of the English translation of the Bible, but being exclusionary to other people isn't modeling Christ's outreach to everyone regardless of religion. Christ himself wasn't a Christian, lest you forget. He certainly didn't have blue eyes and blonde hair.
Dionys: I know you mean well. To say, "Christ himself wasn't a Christian, lest you forget," is an oxymoron. Of course He wasn't, He is Christ, meaning the Messiah. A Christian is a Christ follower...He's not following Himself.
"Blue eyes and blonde hair" have nothing to do with being a Christian. At least I hope so...my eyes are green! LOL
Yet Christ said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Peter said of the Messiah (Christ) to the Jewish High Priest, referring to Old Testament prophecy, "'This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner (Cornerstone).' Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
While we are to be kind to non-believers, that does not dilute the message that Christ paid for our sins on the Cross & rose victorious over death. -Rev. S
Thanks for answering that one Silverghost. I wasn't sure how to respond to Christ wasn't a Christian. I really hate to see these New Age, all-inclusive, interpretations of Christianity distorting the true message of salvation. I imagine it can be very confusing to those who have not yet found Christ.
He opens the eyes of the blind, even today, Brett! There's hope for all. He is the Great "I AM" PTL -Rev. S
Amen, Brett. Good procedure. We should acknowledge the Lord in all our activities & commit our works to Him.
The video & song were excellent.
Regarding ministry in song, David had established choirs for the Temple & selected Asaph as his chief choirmaster. -Rev.S
