I think by extreme violence he means the constant killing of children by the IDF. Or he could mean the hundreds of thousands of cluster bombs dropped last year in civilian areas by the Israeli government in direct violation of UN rules and agreements that Israel signed.
If Israel DID drop cluster bombs on civilians, it was probably because those civilians were in areas where Muslim rockets were being fired from at Israeli civilian neighborhods (I saw video footage from 2006 of rockets lifting off from those Lebanese population areas with my very eyes). Muslim "freedom fighters" have a tendency to use their women and children as shields so when they fire a rocket or missile into Israeli neighborhoods with, no doubt, innocent ISRAELI women and children, Israel can't fire back without killing the innocent of Muslims. And, yet, the Muslims look SO anguished in pictures when that happens. It's as if they would NEVER perform an honor killing on a daughter or mother who had been raped from some bastard.
